"Having gained the land you must now keep it. Keep it, I say. Defend it. Conquer it. Subdue it. Master it. And let it by your hand fructify, multiply and produce the harvest of nourishment of the devotees of Maitreya."

"Blessed ones, be pillars of fire in the earth! Be pillars of fire in the earth, beloved, and heed the Call! Heed the Call of Light. Do not decide why you cannot be at Glastonbury in preference to anywhere else but decide how you can be there. Decide, beloved, that Community is your protection.

"I AM walking through that land this day. For I would exorcise from it the demons that some of you have brought with you in your argumentation and your folly and your blindedness by energies that never ever should have passed through you. Let my rod through my Messenger disperse, then, all injustice, all that is dishonest, all that is unfair. Be willing to admit where you have wronged another. Settle your accounts. Do not defend your person but be true to me.

"I, Jesus, speak to you and you know of whom and whereof I speak. And therefore, there are some who should be ashamed to stand in my Presence and there are others who have kept the Flame as saints of God.

"Thus, I call you to the House of the Lord [your Mighty I AM Presence]. May you know now that Communion of my heart. May you know it, beloved.

"This is, then, the last I may offer to you of the series of dictations begun in the hour of the Call to the ascension. Thus, beloved, when the response is full, even full to that which I bring this day, I shall once again implore Alpha and Omega to assist you through the journey ahead and every step of the way.

"Keep my Flame in this Community, beloved, for I have given more of myself than you will ever know to the very presence of my Church in this place. And it shall not be bestowed upon me that I may start anew or begin again. With Almighty God [and] all saints of heaven who have gone before you, I say: in this Community we must not fail.

"Let there be not fragmentation or division, but know that your loyalty is to the Flame that burns upon the altar because the Lord God has sent to you a Messenger who is able, by his grace, to keep that Flame. And as you sustain your devotions the Flame is kept in this octave. It is a Light unto the world, beloved, and that sacred fire is your salvation in this octave.

"Now let the forces of Death and Hell rage if they will, for I shall be midst my own. And let the Love bond of Gautama Buddha allow all to prefer one another and this holy Community before all other passions, disputes, all other claims of Darkness, all other false prophets who say, 'Go here and there, for the Messenger is no longer in her temple.' I tell you, beloved, all of these most frightening claims and allegations may come, but let the true disciples of my heart who are the witnesses from the beginning unto the end of their own salvation by the grace of this dispensation keep the Flame of the ark of the covenant blazing upon this altar!

"So I shall bear you witness. So I shall bear you witness: call unto me. And all who have asked for direct chastisement or initiation or soul-testing or rebuke from the Messenger, I, Jesus, will come to you. Listen for my footstep. Know my voice and know that I shall surely make known to you those conditions of consciousness or action, those desires or projects or goals which are truly not an acceptable offering to the Holy One of God, your I AM Presence."

"Community does hold the hand of the disciple, does provide the love bond, does provide the care and the reinforcement. Yet Community can never be a substitute for self-effort or [for] the engaging in that inner walk with God and in the mighty work of the ages. One must have a straight spine and courage and determination to remain within the Community and the Mystery School and to keep [up] that striving daily. Striving itself is creative tension and it, too, must be balanced."

"Let the golden halo of each one shine brightly. Let the sweetness of the inner walk with God, let your communion with me in that Eighth Ray chakra, as with Gautama and Maitreya there, be upon you as a holy oil and a radiance whereby you sense that the outer service is an extension of the inner temple work, the inner temple meditation, contemplation, garnering of the Light. For it is also, beloved, in the secret chamber of the heart that you affirm the Word and wax strong in the power of the spoken Word.

"The inner temple work for the establishment of these spheres is thine own now. And as you are taken to the etheric retreats of the Brotherhood, you who have passed through the steps of the seven rays do enter the inner court while new students newly entering, coming newly out of the physical body to the etheric while they sleep at night, do take the very first steps of the seven rays.

"Thus, there is the inner court. Knock. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. The knocking, beloved, is what you do each day to prove to the hierarch of the ray that you are indeed skipping no steps, seeking no side doors or byways, that you are determined to keep the flame of the ray each day of the week and in the fortnight you spend at these retreats of the Chohans."

"This is not to say that one side will have one thing exclusively and the other another. But we as patrons, Thomas More and Francis Bacon, will bring to both as one our dreams of the new order and of the Utopia and of all things that a people working together can do. The first ray is not complete without the seventh, nor the seventh without the first.

"And thus, we have made only one condition to our sponsorship, and that is that, first and foremost, each site shall be dedicated to the Blessed Mother, Mary—to her love, to her cathedral of Glastonbury, to her shrine, and to her keeping the vigil for these little ones. Thus, together we dedicate to the purpose of the Holy Family and the community these places set aside and dedicated, through the heart of Edward to your own heart, selflessly and therefore purely and therefore victoriously.

"May you then know that we do indeed see a future there. And as it has been said to our messenger in these long months of her keeping the flame with the staff of the ranch, we cannot truly move forward in light or vibration in this area until there are set here one thousand chelas of the will of God, both within the staff and in the Glastonbury community. Therefore, look ahead and look to the opportunities even now being prepared in Livingston and Bozeman.

"For, blessed hearts, to maintain a spiritual center such as this, as large and all-comprehensive in time and space, it does require many tall pines. And the adversity itself, whether political or religious or through the media, will be neutralized when one thousand devotees keep daily the watch upon the wall of the Lord. Sometimes our staff have been bowed down here, as fifty and less have attempted to keep the light against the forces of the Amorites and all of those companies who have thought that the land was theirs.

" . . . Indeed there is the need for the Community of Glastonbury, for souls to stand guard to see that no power, political or otherwise, should in any way interfere with the guarding of this magnet. For this forcefield, beloved ones, though it may be a bit hard for you to comprehend, is our designated focal point for the holding of balance of earth changes on the entire planet.

"We have no other place so secluded, so far away from the cities, yet so accessible and usable. We have no other group of devotees of the numbers of this organization so consecrated on the single wavelength of the Mighty I AM Presence, the sacred fire, and the violet flame."

Therefore, we have set forth the plan of the Inner Retreat and the Ranch and Glastonbury not only for your personal protection or mutual reinforcement, but for a way of life, that you might enjoy not having to be a part of the aggressive forces of success that are in the world or a constant financial burden to your households or to the church.

"We desire to see you enjoy a life that is ample yet simple, so that all of your resources, especially those of your time and your breath, might be devoted to the decrees on world conditions as well as the preaching of the Word.

"We are not empire builders; we are the humble of heart whose mansions are in heaven. We desire to see that union and reinforcement there because we know the strength of the united call and the prayer vigil that was once kept in Glastonbury Cathedral in the name of the Mother, which did hold, indeed, the balance of light even as that balance was held in Tibet, in China and in India.

"Beloved ones, we desire to see you secure for yourselves that place in the sun so that the balance of the world forces could be held."

"Do not think that the vacuum will not be filled. It will be seized and snatched from you if you do not fill it by those who are the interlopers, the hirelings and the false pastors. Thus they will present their vision of a world communal system, of a world totalitarian movement. They will replace God with anti-God as the supergods of a superstate; and you will see the destruction of the economy and souls blinded by a mass planetary momentum and entity which does cloud people and make them perform for a season acts and deeds which are not native to their own righteousness out of The Lord Our Righteousness or their own soul's beauty. "And when the period of their being ensnared by these spirals of illusion is over and they awaken again as though from a dream they can hardly believe they have been instruments not of the light of the hidden man of the heart but of the nefarious forces of the underworld that have stolen from them another round of cosmic purpose, another round of service to my God and to your God."

"Therefore the Chief is most pleased that the Actions Speak Louder than Words lecture is now available to you to study and to multiply as the All-Seeing Eye of God upon the issues of our time. "Blessed ones, make no mistake, the Guru El Morya, who does represent me to yourselves in this Community by his additional sponsorship, has given you a true assignment of chelaship. You must look at it as the assignment of Marpa to Milarepa and be done with it. You must take [your preparedness] as an initiation on the path of your own Bodhisattvahood and cease the delay and cease being confounded as to the reasons why, [according] to your own private analysis of the world situation, [the prophecies will or will not come to pass]. "There comes a time in the life of a chela when his desire for self-mastery and his love of the Guru El Morya must supersede his sense of superiority [in matters of judgment] and when the sincere one on the Path [must] simply take up the work of the Guru and say, 'I must work the works of him that sent me.'"

Lord Maitreya

"'Why is it so, Lord,' she [Guru Ma] asked again, 'when the teaching has never been more plain?' I shall attempt then to tell you why. Perhaps it is the substitution of the Messenger's Presence for your own. Perhaps it is, beloved, that you mistake words for fiats of light internally won. Certainly it is a covering over by yesterday's karma that comes as a wave—almost as a wave—of the dirty water of yesterday's laundry. When yesterday's karma is not transmuted it surely does muddy the spiritual senses and the ears are waxed dull by it; and the soul has a blurred vision. Blessed ones, it is simply this: the Word must be internalized. " . . . What I tell you is this: hearts among you have attainment, other hearts do not. The Law is impartial, plays no favorites; and a Community of the Holy Spirit is made up of individuals responsible unto God. A community is also a brotherhood and a sisterhood of chelas supporting one another, upholding one another—but this is only until the child may stand on his own two feet. One dare not take the habit of leaning on another's decree momentum or any other momentum, beloved. " . . . Blessed ones, I remind you that this is not the Roman Catholic Church nor the Protestant church nor the Jewish synagogue, neither mosque nor temple nor Hindu shrine. This is the Great White Brotherhood and the Church Universal and Triumphant! Do not equate former paths as sufficient in the hour of testing. They will fail you, each and every one. Do not attempt to combine the old ways, nor pour the new wine of the Everlasting Gospel into old bottles. "We desire to make you like us, not for you to become dependent upon us. We desire you to know that in this state of transition through the physical octave you do need our intercession and we gladly give it. And so does the Messenger. But it is for a purpose: it is for the preparation of your solo. It is for the preparation of an instantaneous contact with the Beloved. I speak of the Beloved, the Mighty I AM Presence, and I tell you if you have not experienced firsthand the breathless, profound and all-enfolding love of the Presence—the warmth, the joy, the communion, the intimacy, the sense of well-being, the Self-knowledge that you are forevermore locked in your I AM Presence. " . . . So I ask the question: how many can at will make the contact with the Presence that comes as a feeling of love descending—a feeling so powerful as to exclude all other awareness of a planet? Beloved ones, this can be yours. But you must stop chattering, stop seeking so many interchanges with others. " . . . Beloved ones, it is not the mere repetition of decrees. And this is a fallacy in itself—'If I decree long and hard enough I must arrive.' This is the fallacy also of the Christian who says if he will believe on the Lord Christ he will be saved. " . . . This is not a game of hopscotch where one, two, three, hop! and you are in the etheric retreats and next you are resurrected and next you are ascended! Life is not so, beloved. And contrary to what you may have thought you do require self-mastery and mastery of the sacred fire to arrive at the gate. " . . . But I will tell you what the Law will never overlook. It will never overlook the withholding of love from thy brother. It will never overlook an impure heart. The impure heart will not enter in. It will not overlook the Liar and the lie. It will not overlook those who see a brother's need, who see him toiling in the day and the night and then walk away to their own pleasure and conceit. The Law will not overlook one who separates himself from a path that is clearly outlined. The Law will not overlook one who elevates himself in spiritual pride and soon falls prey to the psychic. The Law will never overlook one who does not receive any of these little ones as the Christ in arm. " . . . Blessed is he that seeth his brother's need and supplieth it. Blessed is he that showeth his brother how to supply his own need. Blessed is he that does receive the Teaching and transfer it to the poor in Spirit. Blessed is he that does not pamper himself or his ego but is renewed continually by his love-tryst with the Presence. " . . . Blessed ones, happy is the man who arrives at that point of the balance of karma who has also diligently pursued self-mastery. " . . . But I tell you, beloved, the most momentous occasion of all that is recorded in all of cosmos is the moment when the soul—transfused, transported, transformed—is infilled with the I AM Presence and does never separate out again, for the fusion is won."

"Keepers of the Flame, by your securing of this land, you have bought and paid with a price even a dispensation for the Great White Brotherhood. I cannot even tell you how much it means to Sanat Kumara and the Four and Twenty Elders, when they must judge judiciously what is [to be] the outcome of the Path on earth, what it means to have a land consecrated by those who are sincere chelas and do have the direct tie through the Messenger and their I AM Presence to the Lord Sanat Kumara.

"This land, beloved, is a land of the hope of the world and the future glory which can come. And it is the place chosen. It is the perfect place! It is the place destined! And it is high time that the world and all in it accepted that fact! [19-second applause]

"There is a vote of confidence that does descend from the Lords of the Seven Rays, from the legions of the Second Ray. Many are gathering. They are walking across the highways. They are walking across the land and the sea. And they are making their pilgrimage from the Himalayas, from high in the Andes, and [from with]in the interior of the earth [to this place].

"They come, beloved. For the devotees of earth who are a part of the Great White Brotherhood come to this altar before the Banner of the 'I AM' Race to give tribute and thanksgiving to you who [are] in physical embodiment, you who midst all of the oppressions and depressions of the world and the karma you bear have seen and had the vision to secure this place and to take your stand for it. Beloved, my heart is extending to you in my name, in the name of Portia and [to] all of these such a profound gratitude that shall not end in all eternity, I assure you.[15-second applause]

" . . . When I am Home here at the ranch I walk, beloved. It is therapeutic to walk as one ponders the imponderable, as one attempts to come to grips with forces, as one deals with the same forces who moved against me when I, as the Wonderman of Europe, attempted to prevent a far less holocaust.

" . . . Directly above you, beloved, high beyond the atmosphere of earth there is a white crystal sphere with mother-of-pearl, resembling an opal but it is not an opal. That sphere is the Causal Body of one Cosmic Being. This one has taken his place over this Community as the guardian watcher and presence of the Buddha. This one keeps the flame during this period of deliberation of cosmic councils. This [one], beloved, is a very precious heart of Light. The sweetness of this Cosmic Being is known across the galaxies. This individualization of Almighty God, this one has the appellation of 'God' for having so internalized the Great God Flame.

"And now this one does amplify already in this hour (in answer to Portia’s call) the flame of Living Justice. Meditate in your heart upon this sphere of Light, for this one is establishing a direct tie to each one of you. It is a thread of contact, and it is a thread of contact to the cosmic level of attainment of this one. It is indeed a great grace, beloved. Some of you have never had such a contact since you have descended into this plane of physicality. Cherish it as the rarest of gifts that has ever come to you by the dispensations of the Great White Brotherhood save the knowledge of the Path itself which has led you to this moment of receptivity.

"The compassion of this being, beloved, the identification with the burdens of the people of Light of earth and all peoples is profound. Blessed ones, know that it is a sacrifice when a Cosmic Being does tie himself to lower evolutions. This one comes in compassion for Sanat Kumara, for Gautama, for all of us who have labored in these fields of earth.

"Blessed ones, it is truly of great solace to my heart and does redeem to me in some measure what I have given forth these two hundred years and more [while] for many centuries I have been preparing the souls who have come to America. Hope truly is the white flame-flower, the lily, the rose, the lily of the valley. Beautiful are the white flowers that remind us of Mary and the kingdom of heaven and of Christ and of the little ones entrusted to our care.

"I am at peace, beloved, because you know the way. My peace is disturbed when you do not follow the way ye know.

Glastonbury South View "There is no peace then in the heart, the soul, the psyche, the being of anyone when there is that nonresolution. Therefore resolve this day to establish resolution with your inner Christ and do not assume that you automatically have it! For the standards of the Christ must be the measure of the Christ and the measure of a man or a woman as to what Christhood each one can contain."—Peace and Aloha, April 8, 1993 "Non-profit ventures rarely prepare anyone for the gut-wrenching, hours-absorbing, uncertainty-laden world of entrepreneurship."

"Community is a very bad word in the circle of the fallen angels. They do not wish to see a community of Lightbearers succeed, for the Community of the Buddha-[consisting of] the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha]-presents the equation of the equilateral triangle that is invincible because it is a threefold flame. Wherever the communities have formed round about the earth, on the surface, beneath the earth, on ancient continents and on other systems, the fallen ones have come from afar to snuff out that candle of Community.

"Do you not realize, beloved hearts, that Community is the answer to the problems of so many—of those in ghettos in every nation and of the poor and of those who can no longer afford to live in the cities of the world, much less in the country?

"Yes, beloved, why do they not form communities?

"Because, quite simply, they argue about who is boss.

"They cannot even get along with themselves or the members of their own households. How can they band together by the hundreds and then the thousands to form a community where arms are locked and a mighty mesh of armour as chain mail is formed by the living bodies of the Buddhas and Christed ones and bodhisattvas and babes in arm?

"All of these have the fire of God within them and submit to holy purpose, to the indwelling God and therefore, because all see the same All-Seeing Eye of God, all see El Morya, all know at inner levels what is the foundation and the bedrock of Community.

"So the Community is a strength multiplied, geometrized by the numbers within it and by those of the hosts of the Lord who are enabled to step through the veil through you. You are not mere physical numbers. You are yourselves plus all of the angels and elementals and Ascended Masters who can work through you individually. Such is the multiplication of the Community of the Holy Spirit.

"The Holy Spirit is the Great Multiplier, beloved. Therefore understand that when your heart is a well of living fire, the multiplication of that fire is also infinite. But if there be lurking somewhere in the folds of the garment of the unconscious indeed a force of anti-Love neglected, left there long ago, which you have since sought to transmute but you have not—if this be the case, beloved, there is also a multiplication, by your tie to the Great White Brotherhood, of that substance."

"O God, give unto them clearer vision, perseverance, and above all greater love. For by that greater love they may be the chalice of thyself in this one [who is] of cosmos.

"May the compassionate heart of Kuan Yin expand in you as the open door to humanity, to the Dhyani Buddhas, to Gautama, and to all ascended hosts. May you call for Divine Justice for yourselves and your households and may you remember to call for the mercy of the Law through the mantras of Kuan Yin to temper that justice when karmic law decrees upon you a severe testing.

"Know this, beloved, that we may not, any of us, stand between you and all of your karma. You must deal with it. This is the Path. Walk it with courage. Make all things right. Settle the scores of the ledger of your accounts."

"And those who are our ministers, beloved, are those who must lead this activity in bringing the awareness of what is happening always in the International Capitalist/Communist Conspiracy, always with the eye on the Soviets and their Western supporters. For there is where all decrees must be directed, not merely on Saturday night but at every session. Not long invocations but very specific and incisive ones will give us the authority to act. If you do not know the danger, you cannot defeat it."
