Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men!' So it was when the angels had gone away from them into heaven, that the shepherds said to one another, 'Let us now to go Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.'

And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe laying in a manger. Now when they had seen Him, they made widely known the saying which was told them concerning this Child. And all those who heard it marveled at those things which were told them by the shepherds . . . Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them. (Luke 2:8-18, 20).

Luke in his Gospel, attests to the historical evidence for the Nativity, taken from "eyewitnesses" who could verify "the certainty" (Luke 1:1-4). Among the first eyewitnesses Luke cites were "shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night," to whom an angel suddenly appeared, announcing the birth of Christ the Lord and providing directions to His location. After visiting the Holy Child, the shepherds related their experiences to those living in the surrounding countryside (Luke 2:8-20).

Can we fathom the events of that first Christmas, the wonder of that night in the spiritual and earthly realms as angels and shepherds shared praises to God? Was the night sky quiet, pierced only by starlight? Was the Holy Star already illuminating the fields around Bethlehem with its miraculous
shining? The shepherds certainly were startled from the serenity of their nightly watch. When they found the Holy Family, did they find the Babe sleeping, warmed by the steady, sweet breath of stabled sheep?

" . . . The way of fulfillment is not the superstate, for the superstate can never fulfill the yearnings of the masses to be free, to be one in the flame of God. Not in the state, not in a material religion, not in this or that philosophy, not in this or that economic policy but through the initiation of the cycles of the heart will the multitudes come into the awareness of God.

"This is the meaning of the feeding of the multitudes and the pleading of the Master, “Feed my sheep. Simon Bar-jona, lovest thou me more than these, more than these stones, more than these fishes, more than this bread? Lovest thou me more than all outer manifestations? Feed my sheep.”

"In order to feed the sheep, you must draw from the Good Shepherd the energies of life, the wherewithal to nourish the flock. Feeding the sheep, dispensing the bread and the fish to the five thousand is a demonstration of hierarchy, whereby through your heart chalice and your Christ consciousness is delivered unto the flock increments of science, of knowledge, of love, of abundance and the energy necessary for the sustainment of the body temple.

"The urgency of the message comes as you understand the ongoing nature of hierarchy. Each one successively who holds the shepherd’s crook, who holds the authority for church, for state (for a group of souls or for one or two) must understand that unless the feeding, the nourishing of life, the giving and releasing of energy is fulfilled, there will be a blockage of the flow of the creative life force and a stopping of the action of hierarchy."

" . . . Therefore we call to you to spread the Teachings. Yes, I bring this subject to you again and again. I must bring it, for the time is short for many. Many must learn that they must not abort their children. Many must learn that their unborn children have a soul and an I AM Presence and an opportunity for eternal life. Therefore I call to you!

"When I spake in the Galilean hillsides, when I spake round about Judea, I had no public address system. Yet my teachings went forth carried by angels and were deposited in various parts of the world. And I, your Jesus, did also go to those faraway places to preach to the tribes of the earth.

"There are many more souls in embodiment today, beloved. Therefore, let these teachings and eventually the dictations be beamed on satellite. The world must have them now! It is a desperate situation! It is desperate, beloved, because the time is short, the karma descends and the people do not know how to use the violet flame to transmute the karma of the hour.

"Therefore, you have been given an extraordinary assignment to give your violet flame calls on behalf of five and a half billion souls in embodiment on earth. You who know better are doing better, beloved. And I bow to the Light within you and I thank you for giving the ascended hosts of Light the open door whereby we can step through the veil through your Messenger to deliver the Teachings before it is too late. We may step through the veil through you as well, as you prepare the chalice of your heart to receive us, each one."

"And inasmuch as all of you cannot read all of the Teachings or listen to all of the dictations, I suggest that you divide them up amongst yourselves so that when you take the staff as a whole and the larger Community as a whole there will be experts on certain years of Teachings, certain Masters and certain subjects, whereby the whole may be held in the heart one by one, some providing this portion, some another, and sharing it gladly with one another.

"This Teaching must be a living and a vibrant teaching. It must be alive in your hearts and minds so that when you come together with your planning, beloved, you may also share the precious gems, many of which have not been found or looked into, many of which apply to the very current world scene. Even these seven dictations were for some time unnoticed [in the archives] and therefore heretofore you have celebrated the beginning of our organization on the eighth [of August] with the first Pearl of Wisdom."

"Think not that you can get here and there on earth what the Masters are able to give you from above and in their retreats. Therefore seek the highest Teachers and be the best taught among earth’s evolutions. And qualify yourselves to become teachers of men by pursuing the Corona Class Lessons. For the corona of the sun is a corona of Victory. You see how I behold in all of God’s creation Victory itself!"

“Feed my sheep.” Was I not concerned with food? Indeed, the perfect balance of food. Was I not concerned with the nourishment of souls? Indeed. The false pastors [of] this day have neglected both
—the spiritual meat as well as the physical. Thus they are heady and as though drunk and have not an attunement by bodies held up as chalices, by minds held up, by the soul raised up unto the living Word to deliver that unto others.

"Thus a false pastor may only be false by the failure to bow to the Divine Will, to the Divine Principle, to the Father-Mother God, to the oneness of Life. Thus those who meditate upon the law of God must come to the internalization of that law, but only if in [their] desiring the desiring be so great that all of [their] desiring is sent forth unto a cosmos and the cosmos must return the fulfillment of that desiring to be God in manifestation!"

"Most of you are angels, who came to deliver God's people. This is why you find so little in common with the laggard evolution; you have a different way of life, you have different values, and you have an intensity that is born of the sacred fire, with which you are endowed. Just the very ablitity of the Lightbearers to contain the Holy Spirit and to work and to keep on working and to bring forth Masters' Community and service is unnatural to the normal course of evolution on earth—just the ability to contain that fire and that zeal and to love it in the process.

"The staff of the shepherd, the shepherd's crook, is the sign that the shepherd has raised his Kundalini and the crook is coming up the spine and over his head and centered his vision in the third eye. Therefore, he has the right to lead. So, his crook is his staff which he leans upon as he leads the sheep through the rocky places up and down, and through their own karmic patterns. That staff is necessary. So shepherds, get your staff."

"Now then, beloved, it is absolutely essential that every one of you form a committee of one to see to it that these Teachings go abroad. We will train you at Summit University. We are determined that you will have the skills.

" . . . Yes, beloved, your word, your witness, spoken or written, is most important. Therefore sharpen the pen! Learn to use it! Read books that teach you how to write better, how to express yourselves better, and take those courses that enable you to speak better.

"You can receive this [training] at Summit University or wherever you live across the nation. It is so important when you are going to give the message that you give it in an organized way, that you give it in a way whereby you can go right to the heart of the burden of a loved one and give him that special crumb of Life that will feed him, that will heal him, that will make him whole.

" . . . You must go after that one which is lost! You must be the shepherd! Yes, I AM the Shepherd of the earth. I AM the Shepherd of all evolutions of Light, beloved. And I also receive those who have been converted from the evolutions of Darkness, those who truly have been converted and have confessed the Son in Jesus Christ. They are given their opportunities and we nurture them.

" . . . Blessed ones, this is the opening of the door. And from this day forward, you shall see the increase in courses and in tutoring of souls and in preparing of souls so that one day this Summit University might also be an accredited school of theology and liberal arts.

"Blessed hearts, we are gathering the teachers, the professors, the counsellors. We are gathering those who will truly teach the science of all the world's religions and the true spiritual foundations of all the world's science. This is an hour, beloved, of the stepping up of instruction and it does come from the heart of Lord Maitreya, whose Mystery School it is.

"Therefore the four beings of the Ruby Ray—Lords Jesus, Maitreya, Gautama, Sanat Kumara—do sponsor this foundation of the Ruby Ray for this institution of learning. Let all Lightbearers of the world know that to fulfill their high calling they must come and receive this training.

"Now, you who are in charge and you who direct these courses on behalf of the Messenger, make yourselves worthy of this calling. For we can send to you but those whom you will receive. And if you step up the level of your instruction and your standards, so we may send those of higher and higher standards and of spiritual qualifications.

"Let the course of yoga then proceed, for it is a necessary adjunct in the balancing of the physical body. We desire to see individuals walking forth from Summit University who are examples of the path of the Bodhisattva under Jesus, Maitreya, Gautama, Sanat Kumara. We desire to see them understand all points of balance in their four lower bodies and the raising up of the Spirit. We desire to have material here of those who have the fire of an undivided loyalty to their I AM Presence
—those who are undivided, beloved, and therefore can quickly carry a flame of healing and wholeness for others.

"We desire that those who are apostles of God should come and be prepared for their missions and that those who have gifts of the Holy Spirit might go forth and use those gifts in the context of the larger circle of the teaching of the Everlasting Gospel.

"My beloved ones, the ladies of heaven are joining you and all who attend. We are here, beloved, absolutely determined that you will be infired and organized and so God-taught that you may yet make a dent in this civilization.

"Expand the mind, beloved! For we would see pilgrims coming from every nation as ambassadors of Light to bring back to their nations the Path and the understanding and the Word. We desire to see this Teaching known in every nation before the end shall come, and this is the meaning of the word in scripture. It must be done, beloved! The seeds must be planted that none upon earth shall ever lose again the path of Lord Maitreya's Mystery School.

"You have the power to do it, beloved! Let those who have the funds and the resources come and place them upon the altar. It is the hour when the world can receive the Light. And when it does, beloved, those Lightbearers shall be holding the balance for the karma that must descend ere the golden age of Aquarius can come forth in all of its glory.

"We ask you, mothers, to become teachers every day for more and more souls, for children around the world. We ask you to determine how you can go here and there to various places to bring the true understanding of how to read and write and all that has been brought forward by Montessori and others whose methods you have incorporated.

" . . . I trust you will understand that skills are a chalice into which there must be poured the Holy Spirit. Therefore provide the chalice! We will give the skills to strengthen the chalice. And we will pour forth the Holy Spirit as you present yourself a house that is not divided, a house that is one
—one-pointed in one love, one goal, one purpose, and that is to serve to set life free with the greatest talent that God has given you and that you have perfected in previous lifetimes.

"Blessed ones, it matters not if your single talent is the talent of the little juggler, for juggling the problems of the world and the labors is something in itself! And if you are one who will keep the Flame at the altar of this court, then so be it; for those who go forth will not make it on an empty court. The court must be filled!

" . . . Blessed ones, all is in position. Simply take up the shepherd's crook and go forward once you have been fully trained.

" . . . Blessed ones, I speak to you sternly! You are that Christ. That Christ is your identity. Accept no other! Do not compromise. Do not step down for the world. Let the world step up to you!

"Raise the world, beloved! Be not cowards and compromisers, not that I have ever seen you as such, but as the world goes there are many who are manifesting as role models—cowards and compromisers on every point of the Law and every truth until all civilization shall be leveled; for nothing shall stand without Principle as its undergirding.

"Blessed ones, do not step down for the world. Let the world step up to you! This is my admonishment. If you [hold your own], it will happen."

"It is not enough that the Messenger publish. There are many more documents of higher teachings that must be published, not only in the spiritual field but also in all fields, as Morya has said. For this is an hour when the world must know what it is that is really causing the pollution of the earth body
—the toxic aura of man's inhumanity to man, of the Cains killing the Abels at every hand and the blood of brothers defiling the earth. Pollution is also caused by the misuse of technology. So many problems could be solved if mankind would just apply the specific antidotes to the poisons lodged in the soul and in the soil!

" . . . And I call for a course to be set up for you under a professional who has the expertise to teach the art of communication, public relations and principles of marketing as these ought to be taught. Then you will see those who are enlightened, those who have the aura of the sacred fire, those who have the Mind of Christ able to divide by the power of the pen the truth from the untruth, the Real
from the Unreal.

"Set forth the message! Set forth the platform for its delivery in your area of expertise! And if you think you have no expertise, go out and get it, and study and prove yourself to be one who will make that statement and make that name, not only for yourself but for God and all the ascending ones.

"I AM Hermes and I say to you: I shall overshadow any of you, each and every one of you, who will learn these disciplines. But teachers we must have in the flesh!

"Therefore let the professors come forth, let the teachers come forth and let the communicators of the word become known as the guild of the God Mercury. And let them go forth with the wings of the mind of Mercury to speak to a world!"

"I AM the Good Shepherd and I lay down my life for my sheep. My sheep know my voice. And ye are they who testify of me. Thus I bear witness unto the Truth of Almighty God and ye are the witnesses of that Truth. And therefore ye receive my testimony and ye are also those who testify of me.

"Therefore, beloved, I tell you this day that all things come to an end, the opportunity for good and doing good and the opportunity for evil and doing evil. Therefore I say to you, work while you have the Light, for the night of personal and planetary karma cometh when no man shall work."

"You understand, then, that the desirability, the practicality, the necessity, and the benefits of the Teaching must be proclaimed. You must plant the seed of some awareness on the part of the would-be student that this is indeed the very understanding and the teaching and the knowledge he must have to get on with his life and to conquer himself and to fulfill his mission.

"This is the responsibility of the teacher. The teacher is not passive to wait and wait for all eternity for someone to say, 'I finally see that I need this teaching.' Beloved ones, at that moment the student is already becoming the teacher, for enlightenment is self-Beness in the Teaching itself. That student will teach himself. Understand this. That student will take all of the information and the books and the tape recordings, ravenous, and will devour them.

"Beloved, all parents must take the part of assuming for the child what the child needs to know. And the child does trust. And when the child rebels, the parent is not taken aback, does not refrain from correction and hitting home again and again on those points of the Law which the parent knows full well the child must have as an armour to face life in this world.

"Beloved ones, understand the meaning of becoming the teacher of righteousness as Ecclesiastes was. It is understanding what is the next step of the individual, what is the space into which he must move, providing the key and the answer that the step may be taken and showing that that step is indeed in divine order.

"Thus, I speak to you of telling the world of the value of the Teaching in an age when planetary rumblings and earth movements have almost become a part of the same background din as wars and rumors of wars and diseases and plagues. There is such an accommodation by the human consciousness, even a sleepfulness in the watch and the vigil, that the danger signals are no longer registering on the outer mind and people may be buried in one night in an entire village because they have ignored the clear warnings and the signs of the times.

"Beloved, there are Lightbearers in pockets and groups all over the planet who have been convinced that they do not need the Teachings of the Ascended Masters—in fact, that they do not need a teaching or a Master.

"Beloved, it is up to you who have voice and expression and the fire of the eye and the heart to go after the Lightbearers and to convince them that there is a path and a knowledge with which they must be acquainted, no matter what else they do.

"It is not that they need organization or membership or affiliation here or there or anywhere. What they need is self-knowledge. Self-knowledge is wanting in the schoolhouses and universities of this planet.

"Be not attached to this aspect. But rather be concerned that the self-knowledge is grounded in the vision of the Chart of the I AM Presence and that it does not neglect the fundamentals of the understanding of the heavenly hosts and their availability through intercession, of the fallen angels who come to tear the initiate from his path of the violet flame and Saint Germain, of the law of karma and reincarnation, of the fact of each individual being a mission—'You, a Divine Mission'—that the mission can be found, that it can be fulfilled through the sacred fire, through the mantra, through the Word, and that there are helpers, divine intercessors—that man, woman, and child are not alone.

"Beloved ones, the fundamentals of geometry are sufficient for proving many magnificent equations of the Law. Missing the numbers and the understanding of the relationships of numbers, angles, sines and sine waves, the individual cannot remain centered in the Law of the One. Give to the people the tools of Divine Truth. Give them wisdom for wise dominion in their lives. Give them practical understanding where they are. But remember the role of the gardener, tending the soul in the garden of Life.

"If you know that an individual is not well grounded, that the roots have not gone deep enough into the profound wisdom of God that undergirds the Matter cosmos, then you must remain, even from afar, in prayer vigil to keep the flame for that one until that one has passed beyond the dangers of the sinister force that lurks to pluck that one before this grounding has occurred. This is the meaning of the feeding of the sheep and the lambs of God, whether directly in person or in profound prayer where you groan and travail and continue to strive until you know the battle is won for that individual.

"Your increasing awareness of life and how life is imperiled on this planet, beloved, will make of you surely the most consecrated lovers of the sacred fire the world has ever known. It takes but a few examples in your own inner life of seeing the great victory of your call on behalf of a soul in turmoil or torment, and then seeing on the other hand the absence of the call and the falling of one you have loved. To know that the Law works, that God works when you work, and that the spoken Word is absolutely efficacious enables you to accept, if you dare, that God in you can accomplish all things."

"Therefore, beloved, I tell you this day that all things come to an end, the opportunity for good and doing good and the opportunity for evil and doing evil. Therefore I say to you, work while you have the Light, for the night of personal and planetary karma cometh when no man shall work.

" . . . And she used all the means available, truly legitimate means, to draw souls to that altar that I might reach out and touch them through her. And I did promise her, beloved, that I would indeed heal through her.

" . . . May you take that ingenuity which is peculiar to yourself, and may you work as a team with the Messenger and the ministers and the elders and those who are the stumpers from this Church. May you recognize that you require planning and strength and that you must go forth in a concerted action.

"Whatever the traffic will bear, whatever is honorable before God and man, let it be so, that you will find ways and means [to bring this teaching to the children of God on earth]—beginning with prayer, beginning with the absolute determination that the Holy Spirit will be in you and that every foul and unclean spirit will be out of you!

"I decree it! You must will it! You must desire it! You must know that there is no reason to wait forever for the coming of the Lord into your temple!

"It is well to do this, beloved. It is well to give the cup of cold water in my name, that cup being the cup of the Teachings. For each time a soul of Light is lifted up and given renewed opportunity for salvation, that one is liberated to teach thousands, hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions.

"So then, as you study to show yourselves approved unto God as teachers and you multiply the number of those who can truly bear the mantle of the Good Shepherd, you will find that many who go forth from this altar to the four corners of the earth will surely have my blessing and my empowerment. And if you as good shepherds will daily seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be upon you-yes, the Spirit of the living God—you shall know an empowerment for which you have been waiting and which we have been waiting to bestow upon you.

"Therefore, is it not wise to consider, in this atmosphere of hearts filled with gratitude for the blessings of liberty this Thanksgiving Day, whether or not from time to time you misuse power? For if you are grateful for power, you will not misuse it.

"Power can be a dangerous thing, especially when you retain the sin of prejudice. With a prejudiced mind, you will judge unrighteous judgment; you will abuse power and therefore you will be judged and the karma of your unrighteousness will descend.

"Know, then, beloved, that to be a good shepherd is to give the word of kindness and compassion again and again. Whether you journey to lower levels of the astral plane with Archangel Michael or to the highest levels of the etheric plane, remember to give kindness to all. For you never know when those who have strayed far from the center of being, under the influence of black magicians and fallen angels, will melt by the tenderness of your heart that says, 'No matter how filthy or dark this one has become or how great his wrongs have been, I will give the word of kindness.'

" . . . I ask you to become spiritually astute and adept. For we wait to empower you. The Maha Chohan waits to empower you. Understand that Saint Germain also waits to empower you.

"Why do we wait, beloved?

"We watch and wait because we must observe each precious chela for a period of twenty-four months—twenty-four months. Yes, for two years you must not allow yourselves to become enangered, to enter into the criticism, condemnation or unjust judgment of others, or to pass on the latest gossip. You see, beloved, we must know that you will come into balance and stay in balance with right diet, right action, consistent prayer. For twenty-four months sustain this, beloved.

"And therefore I say, take the way of tenderness. Tenderly, tenderly receive me. Tenderly receive one another. And do not condemn a brother when he confides in you that he has committed a sin or an act that is not lawful. Help that one to get through it, beloved. The word is tender . . . tenderness . . . tenderly. Yes, tender to me the good and bury the hatchet.

"We need to empower you, and with that empowerment you will wear the mantle of the Good Shepherd. Though you may speak softly, you may yet have an inner wrangling; for soft speaking sometimes belies seething anger that is just beneath the surface.

"Let me have your understanding, beloved, that this empowerment we have been speaking about and that we would give you is an initiation. There are some among you who have not engaged in the negative Martian energies for a long time. Now I say to you, you who are worthy of empowerment, use the blue-flame decrees to increase El Morya's power in your auras and in your lives. Let that power and those blue-flame decrees become a magnet whereby you can receive a mantle of permanent empowerment.

"Understand that the exercise of God's power in executing his will takes tremendous energy and you can call it forth from your I AM Presence. Thus one who is forever soft-spoken and never speaking out against this or that injustice does not quite have the God-centeredness in the flame of the will of God to be given empowerment. Do you see, beloved ones?

"Therefore understand that you can speak firmly, and that firmness can be without criticism, without condemnation or judgment. But that firmness can convey the challenge of another's actions or of the individual who is not right with God. This is also your duty and your responsibility.

"In conclusion, beloved, I remind you that my disciples are always ready to help one another, to lift up one another and, in a tender but firm way, to correct some action or attitude of one who cannot see his own faults. Those who are unwilling to take the risk of making an enemy by counseling a brother or sister concerning this or that action that is wrong or unwholesome truly do not have the fire of Christ to bring others into the communion of Christ.

"It is always the responsibility of my disciples to warn, to assist, to love, to care for, to raise up and, yes, to rebuke fellow disciples who are going out of the way. And let those who receive that rebuke know that Morya's saying yet applies: 'If the messenger be an ant, heed him.' Listen to your messengers. Learn from them. And do not denounce one who comes lovingly and kindly to assist your soul."

"Ministering servants of the flame, I counsel you, then. Representatives of the Goddess of Liberty, I counsel you. The way of the preaching of the Word is the way of the heart—it is the Love of the heart, it is the Wisdom of the heart, and it is the Power of the heart.

"If you are lacking in these, you must go after the freeing of your heart chakra and the freeing of your Holy Christ Self to manifest there. You must pursue it! You must raise your voice on high and be not fearful of injuring yourself in so doing.

"For you must truly go to battle with all of the calls that have been given you from the heart of Archangel Michael and the Messengers. And these calls are adequate if you put behind them the fervor of your will. And they are adequate to overthrow all of your human consciousness, all of your doubt and your worrisome ways.

"Keep Pace with Maitreya, Morya and Kuthumi . . . "

"Understand, blessed hearts, there must be the sharpening of the sword, a study of the Word, research in all levels of awareness in this octave. There must be practice. There must be penetration of the issues. There must be organization and thoughtful planning when you determine to speak.

"As I told these representatives, though they knew not that it was I: You must do as well as the serpents—and outdo them! You must beat them at their game. If it is speech, communication, and going forth in government, you cannot refrain from coming under the rod of the law of expectancy to meet that level of expectancy within those norms and then by rapier thrust to transcend it and to deliver then more than that norm! And that more (being Thomas More as well) is the Holy Spirit! It is then that you will be heard in all the land.

"Therefore simply because it is the fallen ones who have established standards in communication, do not scoff or rebel against it. Learn their ways. Be in the world, but not of it.

"You will recall that I, as the Wonderman of Europe, wore the styles of the time. I was familiar with its literature and music but I exceeded their own levels of mastery—for, after all, I had some several hundred thousand years behind me.

"Beloved hearts, I could perform anything and all things as they could—but better. This is what I ask of you: not to bypass the standards and expectancies of your era but to recognize that you must speak the language of the people but speak it better—better, louder, clearer!

"You know that I would wear precious jewels in the buckles of my shoes and belt. Thus upon closer examination of my garments, I dressed as they dressed but there was something more, therefore something in store for them—something I had that they wanted. Of course, it was the light. And they were not willing to pay the price but rather to use it as an adornment for their personal egos. And by and by, fulfilling the law of karma, I was compelled to move to other courts—to America, to the Royal Teton, to establish here what was not possible to establish in Europe."

"Contemplate your holy office, O sons and daughters of the Blessed One! Contemplate your service anointed by God, so infired by the Holy Spirit, [the breaking of the bread of Life] partaken of by holy angels [and God's children you nurture, a life of service] truly one with the Father and the Son. A single life lived in the purity of faith brings forth even the essence of the mystery of the cross, and it is indeed for the resolution of all planetary conditions and circumstances that are trying to the nations and to the souls of the people.

"We are not otherworldly. We tarry for a time in this communion that we might return to the very [battle] line of Darkness that seems so real and, if it could, would steal the light of Love from millions. We go to the [battle] line [of Darkness that is drawn]. And by cherished fragments of the Mystical Body of Christ we are strengthened to nourish an earth and a soul with Love's rejoicing.

"How there is the afflatus of the Holy Spirit! How there is something more than mere human effort in this endeavor! How seraphim rejoice to see that love in your midst whereby souls are converted again and again to the divine possibilities of Life! That I might give to you a modicum of courage to be more than you are, yea, all that you are—this is my joy.

"Let your joyous hearts put out the murmurings of anxiety and tension and fear that are never native to the Real Self. Let the circle of our Love be widened. Let it include blossoms fragrant. Let the saints come in. Let them come from the four corners of the earth. Let the Lamb of Sanat Kumara receive all unto himself.

"We are nearing a completion and a beginning. Taking you into our arms, we draw you nearer to God. We show you the open door of the ascension and we say, 'Tarry now with the Mother and the saints. Tarry here and let us be such a magnet of intensity that all the world [will be] fired by the love of God, and all who will [to] be drawn in in this age [will be] drawn in! And all who are a part of many concentric rings of fire [will] dip into that seraphic science and find thereby newness of Life everlasting and a surge and a swelling and a bequeathing of joy magnificent, joy magnanimous, joy munificent that all comes from the heart of the Guru who has espoused the will of God!' As for me, I yet espouse Mother Poverty that she might draw unto herself all of the children of earth that they might be enriched in her Son.

"Now cometh the blessed Mother Mary. For I have asked her in this hour to plant her kiss of peace upon your crown that you might know the blessing that does truly inspire perseverance to an holy goal, the goal of true peace swallowing up the war of the fallen ones—their interwars, their infighting generating planetary discord.

"Let the Prince of Peace whom we adore, let Peace as Elohim come forth, aye, you implore this day! Become the fullness of Christ-peace and behold the understanding of Love's sweet release. For you must find release, blessed heart, and surcease from all pain to move on in the higher cycles of Being, to put on the Buddhic Light and expand the Great God Self, worlds without end, through millions unborn—even through those who will not be born again, for they are already born in heaven."

"It is of no necessity to the children of the Light and certainly no threat to the fallen angels for us to deliver the message of enlightenment to those who are God-victorious in heaven. Here on earth, where souls have lost the way, the fallen angels are most threatened by the Sons of God and their delivery of the Message; for here, until challenged face to face by the Inner Buddha and the Inner Christ, they remain in positions of power from which they enslave the minds, the souls and the bodies of millions.

"And we must go into the streets of the cities to set free the captives of the maya, i.e., the glamour, the illusion, and the karma, of the not-self that has engulfed the souls who are the seed of Christ. Here we must deliver the Message we have self-realized in samadhi, in nirvana. For the only Message we can deliver is the Message we have become.

" . . . Alas! the world must perish, should the Holy One, the Tathagata, decide not to teach the Dharma.

"Be merciful to those that struggle; have compassion upon the sufferers . . .

"There are some beings that are almost free from the dust of worldliness. If they hear not the doctrine preached, they will be lost. But if they hear it, they will believe and be saved. Filled with compassion, Gautama replied to the Evil One, 'There will be some who will understand.'

"Some will understand. A thousand may deny the Message but one will understand. And that one will become the Buddha. In that rejoice, beloved. Rejoice with the Lord of the World! Rejoice with the Inner Buddha thou art becoming!

"Gautama then journeyed to Benares and delivered his first sermon to his five former companions. He revealed to the five mendicants the key discoveries of his quest—the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path, or the Middle Way—and accepted them as the first members of his Sangha.

" . . . Our Lord turned back the Tempter by faith in the One who had anointed him to be the Buddha, by faith in the Teaching he was sent to teach, and by faith in the Mission to save the souls of Light lost in samsara. By faith he said, 'There will be some who will understand.' By faith he preached the Message for forty-five years. By faith the glory of the Guru has filled the earth. And the prophecy is fulfilled in us as in him: 'For the earth shall be filled with knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.' Author Huston Smith writes in his Religions of Man:

"Nearly half a century followed during which Buddha trudged the dusty paths of India until his hair was white, step infirm, and body naught but a burst drum, preaching the ego-shattering, life-redeeming elixir of his message. He founded an order of monks, challenged the deadness of Brahmin society, and accepted in return the resentment, queries, and bewilderment his words provoked. His daily routine was staggering. In addition to training monks, correcting breaches of discipline, and generally directing the affairs of the Order, he maintained an interminable schedule of public preaching and private counseling, advising the perplexed, encouraging the faithful, and comforting the distressed.

"At the age of eighty Gautama became seriously ill and almost died; but he revived himself, believing it was not right to die without preparing his disciples. By sheer determination he recovered and instructed his cousin and close disciple, Ananda. For three more months he traveled through several villages, stopping at the home of Cunda, the goldsmith, one of his devoted followers."

"I call you not only to be my disciples, [but] I call you [also] to be shepherds and to feed my sheep, to quickly devour by the Holy Spirit the teaching that is already set forth and therefore to put on and receive the mantle of apostleship—that you might know yourselves as shepherds and feed the children of God mouthful by mouthful that morsel of bread, that cup of cold water in my name that does return to them the inner resource of Light, the fount of that holy Christhood and the Presence of the I AM THAT I AM.

"This must be done quickly, beloved, for the fallen angels know that they have but a short time, but a narrow few years in which to move against the world that is about to deliver the mandate of the Universal Christ nation by nation.

" . . . Each one who does follow me does become that Christ and this is the message written down by my apostles, such as Thomas and Philip and Mary Magdalene, that has either been lost or suppressed. Know, then, beloved, that the need of the hour is for those anointed ones, anointed of the Light, who are called Christs, to move among the people and to shepherd them.

" . . . Know, then, beloved ones, that it is the true shepherds, yourselves, to whom I call this day to enter in and to establish yourselves where you ought to be, where fallen angels have stolen your seats of authority from you, and to stand for a people who need you in this hour. Thus, let this dictation go down as the call to the true shepherds of the children of God.

"I am calling you as these true shepherds out of every nation throughout the world and I say, it is high time that you recognize that you may no longer allow the fallen ones to encroach upon and to abuse and oppress the children of God! Hear me, beloved! Those who have been these shepherds in the past, many of them have ascended and some are yet with you.

" . . . Blessed hearts, when you expand the fire of God that is already within you, when you have the restoration of your divine inheritance, you will know that not the human but I with you and in you, God in you and with you is the deliverer of nations. Thus, it is to become a transparency for the One who sends you that is the goal of this path rather than to make the fatal error of believing that one's human self is the anointed one.

"The soul is anointed and you therefore become instruments of God. Forever the instrument, you shall not fail. But should you consider yourself as the originator of the Light, you will also go the way of pride, the spiritual pride of the fallen angels that has taken root on this continent [Europe] from ancient times.

"Blessed hearts, this my dictation, then, is spoken to the world. I am therefore calling shepherds to arise quickly and understand the great dearth of true teaching and true teachers, the dearth of leaders and leadership. Understand, beloved, that the people need in you an example, an example of one who is positive in the walk of the Teaching and does serve the Lord at that altar and does go out, therefore, and challenge conditions in society.

"Blessed ones, I am here to challenge also the false teaching out of the East that those who are spiritual do not soil their hands [or their garments] by entering into the arena of politics or government. I tell you, it is the withdrawal of the Lightbearers from these areas that has given
complete reign to the fallen angels to take over your nations, your destinies and your monetary systems."

"Be ye therefore shepherds and shepherdesses. Be ye therefore disciples becoming the Word.

"Understand the meaning of the pillar. Look then: eight pillars in the sanctuary, signifying the path eightfold of the Buddha. Now, if I were to command, 'Remove them all in this instant!' you should not obey, for you understand the law: remove the pillars and the temple will fall. I say, ye are pillars in the temple of my God!

"Whose is the voice that shall speak to you and say, 'Remove thyself from the temple. Thou art not needed. Thou shalt not be missed'? Thus, the Devil would make mist of thee—dispersing thy atoms, dispersing thy soul, and threatening the very spiritual life of the bride within thee.

"Pillars in the temple of my God, remember in this hour my hour of aloneness as Saint Francis. Remember when each of us in our turn has stood in the Church, the single Light here or there across the religious offerings of the world in all ages. Some of you are here in this hour because you and you alone have kept the Light—the Light of God in the community of the Buddha, the community of the called-out ones of the living Christ. You have stood, and by that strength you have earned an armor and a crown that has seen you through many difficult hours in the keeping of the flame for earth.

"Beloved ones, I greet you all as seasoned warriors for Christ, as Christian soldiers in the sense of being the instrument of The Faithful and True. I can tell you from my experience that you have never truly lived to know the work of God until you have stood alone, knowing that you alone were the solitary torch-bearer who could pass the flame of an age, of a nation, of a family, of a single soul, of an endeavor-sensing the aloneness of the desert where the saints have gone or the metropolis where they have also stood, sensing the aloneness of outer space, inner space, and knowing:

"All that I AM is God.
God is all that I AM and there is naught else.
I AM the aloneness of the All.
I AM the all-oneness of the All.
I AM THAT I AM, and God in me is the Victory—
Is the Victory of this star, this world, this child,
This single flower that will mean the turning of this life."

"Each blessed teacher of holy Truth must recognize that it is by the power of example that he can best serve the Great Law, for a good example has the power of ten thousand words and is amplified eternally in the heart of the beholder. If students who desire to teach others concerning the great reality of Life (as God) would determine to know that Reality (as God) and to manifest it themselves, they would by the power of their example bring the kingdom (consciousness) of God far nearer to their neighbors and loved ones than by all other methods of teaching.

"Let me make clear that I do not decry the power of words nor the value of holy instruction. But bearing in mind that the Word of God became embodied in form—and that he who was the Word incarnate declared, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away" I would see you amplify the power of the holy Word in example as the true manifestation of the Christ consciousness. This the Ascended Masters call the living Word. And this is the step-by-step process of the Incarnation which Life intends to be as much your own victory as it was that of beloved Jesus.

"There are certain teachers in the Far East who, lacking understanding, have declared that only a 'living Master' would suffice to teach them or transfer the essence of Light. These sincere but misinformed devotees have not been taught the meaning of Life, nor do they comprehend who or what is a so-called 'living Master'.

"Surely the capacity of God to communicate with his own is not limited to a flesh-and-blood manifestation of himself! Surely the Word was made flesh to accommodate man's comprehension, not God's! Surely a Master who has walked the earth, transmitting the Word to his disciples
—performed feats that defy ordinary physics, with signs following of healings, miracles, and a body of teaching that has withstood the rigorous tests of time—loses neither his life nor his mastership by stepping beyond the pale of temporal life and a body temple ill-equipped for higher octaves!"

" . . . As you prepare to teach men many of the great laws of Being, you must show them that these laws are interwoven with the realities all around them. How can they extricate themselves from the maya and delusion of the ages unless they are able to see God woven into substance and to recognize the hand of the Infinite in all outer expressions? The day of great golden illumination is at hand!"

From the Book of Matthew, Chapter 18

10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

" . . . I've talked about . . . satellite television to the whole world, AM/FM radio and short-wave as far as it can reach from our base in Montana. It'll be a multimillion-dollar project and more. But it's a goal. And we're going to do it because we take accountability.

"I know that I must inform the people of this earth as to the conspiracy. And when we have satellite TV beamed in all the nations, you'll understand why the masters have brought here people from Germany and Sweden and Holland. People speaking every language can be on television speaking to their people the message of the conspiracy.

"The day when we bring that exposure to the world, we have to be able to present a united front. It will be the very presence of the Holy Spirit in our members that will be for the turning of worlds.

"The Poles, the Hungarians, the Italians, the Yugoslavs, the Africans, South Americans—each in his own language. The real United Nations is going to be at the Inner Retreat. That's why we need it.

"One of these days, the United Nations building in New York and its entire contents is not going to be there. Where will the people look to the voice of unity? They're going to look to the One.

"You need to contemplate this message of the One-the one causal body of us all, the one Godhead individed—individed but not divided."

"Therefore do not convey to the little ones or to the new students a certain secularism regarding the Teachings of the Ascended Masters. There is not a secular vibration in our teaching, beloved. Every word we speak and that is spoken by the Messenger comes out of the Spirit cosmos and it has a sheath of holiness.

"Do not be tempted to step down the Teachings to an intellectual or an academic or an emotional format but have the holiness in your aura whereby you sweep up by that aura those in your audiences, those who come to hear the Word, and they are in the rapture of the holiness of God and therefore know the communication because it is transmitted [to them] through the Messenger through you by the Holy Spirit. And only the word that is transferred by the Holy Spirit will work change in another! Know that, beloved. Seek the quickening and know that the Archangels are empowered to transfer to you a mighty light. And yet that [presence of the] Holy Spirit must be a point of enlightenment whom you obey.

"Therefore listen, listen to the still small voice within. Abide the promptings of your soul and your heart. Hearken unto your God and create the spaces of thinking, meditating, visualizing or simply stilling the mind, stilling the outer 'things upon things' that come upon you, until you hear your God speaking to you of your mission, of your love that is God's and of those things to which you must pay attention in order to have your victory on the morrow and on the next day and on the next."

"I am most grateful to receive the acceptable offering of our chelas who have so gladly come forth, having prepared their exposés. Is this not a mighty release to our Mother, that she may accelerate in the publishing of the teachings and taking the most advanced chelas higher and higher on the climb of the highest mountain, while the Christed ones who have been chelas many a year, who have heard all the exposés, now take the torch of this office, which is truly the office of the Christ Self? For, you know, it is said of the I AM Presence: I AM of too pure eyes to behold iniquity.

"You also understand that the mantle of Guru, given and bestowed by Padma Sambhava—the Buddha, the Lotus-born One—that mantle and office of Guru, the equivalent of Father, the equivalent of the flame of Sanat Kumara, holds the chair of the divine office of the I AM Presence. It is in this chair that the messenger ought to sit.

"And therefore the call goes forth for the wonderful chelas of the will of God to truly accept the mantle of shepherd this night and to know that their place is to officiate on behalf of Keepers of the Flame and the multitudes at the point of the Christ Self.

"This is a most wondrous gift, both from the chelas and from the World Teachers. For in that office you do represent the World Teachers, dispensing knowledge as a gift of the Holy Spirit, knowledge of the Matter universe, while Mother continues to dispense the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, the gift of the perception of the laws of the Path, of the laws of prophecy."

"And I offer you my heart. I offer you my mantle. I offer you the staff of the Lord this day if you will but place yourself on that path of being tutored and God-taught, that you may indeed know the scriptures and impart them by the Holy Spirit. And [I desire you to] know the Word and Work of God and to know the meaning of and to use those teachings brought together under the office of the Messenger. [Thus] fully and finally shall this seed of Christ in every nation hear spoken and taught in their [own] language that which is the true mystery of God as that mystery was broken and shared by our Lord Jesus Christ.

"O beloved, the fervor of my being is that I myself have been unleashed by the Lord God as never before! And I am determined that ere this cycle of this decade pass, this teaching (but a portion of which you have heard this evening) shall reach every Lightbearer on this planet!

" . . . My beloved, it is this gospel of salvation that must be preached in every nation before the end shall come—the end of opportunity for souls of Light to be bonded to their Lord. Therefore understand that many have thought that it is the orthodox Christian message that had to be preached in every nation, but I tell you, it is the true mysteries of Jesus Christ that must be preached.

"And therefore we see and we decree for that new heaven and new earth and the resurrection and the life of this Church Universal and Triumphant. And we send you, but we cannot send you without the full understanding and comprehension of what you must deliver. And that is why we announce to you at this conference the Summit University Extension Course whereby you will learn, focus by focus, line by line, the teachings that do come forth based on that [volume] A Dweller on Two Planets by Phylos the Tibetan.

"This is a necessary book to this age. It is directed to the children of Atlantis and the old souls who have come back from that continent. They must know their 25,800-year history from then until now. They must know our Saviour as the Great One who did impart the Law unto that people and did impart the very flame that burned and continued to burn until it had to be withdrawn, for the people did forsake their God and they did go after the fallen angels and the Nephilim as they do this day!

"And this must be stopped! And it can be stopped by the action of that Cosmic Christ illumination which true Divine Love shall deliver through the beloved John and that true [Cosmic] Christ illumination which shall be delivered as the Truth is spoken.

"O the Truth is powerful! And when you take up this calling of Truth, beloved, you will have as your champion, without fail, the beloved Pallas Athena, who steps forth from among the Lords of Karma this night and stands before you with that mighty shield and sword, as she is determined to pierce the lie of the fallen ones about this activity, this Messenger and the Teachings of the Ascended Masters.

"Beloved, enough is enough! And we of heaven are determined to work through you. Only prepare yourselves to receive that stone which has been known as the philosophers’ stone, which is indeed that white cube of the heart that each one of you must have if you would truly impart by the Holy Spirit those elements of Truth and of Love that are the needful, the needful elements of the moment to the individual. By word, beloved, by example, you will impart the Body and Blood of Christ, truly the body of the Teaching and the blood of the sacred mysteries, as our Messenger has written. O beloved, this Truth shall go marching on! It must go marching on! And therefore the angels of the Lord who keep the way of the Tree of Life and the Unfed Flame in this retreat and at this altar have pledged to stay and to come again and again, even as the legions of the God Star, Sirius, have so pledged.

"You now also have the tremendous boon from the level of Elohim, earned by your giving of your hearts in your sacred labors. Blessed ones, we shall send more labors, we shall send more teachings, and we shall see that more books are written! And we ask you to protect the Messenger, to protect the time and space of the Messenger, for writing pages does take time and space and the cycles of the hours.

" . . . Attempt to find the sufficiency of God in your own heart, in the Ascended Masters and in the Teachings. Attempt to have a go at problem solving, beloved.

" . . . But also make the call daily for the binding of the dweller-on-the-threshold of yourself and that carnal mind that is enmity with Christ. Make the call daily, beloved one, that you might find yourself in the bliss and harmony of God, working the works that must be done, being a team player, being a part of this Community. And know that every single one of you throughout this planetary body who is affiliated with this organization has made possible the writing and the publishing of this book!

"You are important, beloved! And I say this to you with all the love and the fervor of my heart and that of untold thousands of saints robed in white who wish that they could also speak to you this night. And therefore they shall speak to you, for they are journeying to the Retreat of the Divine Mother, where you may also go in your [etheric] bodies this night and hear them speak to you of their trials and tribulations, their overcoming and their washing of their garments in the mighty Blood of the Lamb."

"Who has taken from you your sense of holiness? Where is the glimmer of the light that does shine from you as holiness unto the Lord? I will tell you! That sense of holiness has been denuded from you by those in church and state who have come with their false revolutions of every kind, therefore seeking the lowest common denominator where all activity is common and is never endowed with devotion or a flame or an appreciation or the looking on high. And thus it does show upon your faces to the utter chagrin of your Mother who stands before you.

"Therefore, we say take the flame of Opportunity and know that you did not take embodiment to be upon the socialist treadmill or any other treadmill of any other economic system where you are controlled from above, controlled from beneath, and boxed in as though you were fleas or mice or some variety of the animal species.

"Beloved ones, you are more than men and women. You are God-free, immortal beings! And I desire to strip you by the sacred fire this night because the flame of Opportunity is kept in this universe, because that flame does glow, and because God Justice demands for you another opportunity!

"When receiving so high a gift and calling you ought to be humble, not before me or the Messenger but toward the littlest chela and the one who serves. When you can be humble before the one who you think is beneath you in rank, then you have begun the ladder of life. For all may have some sort of affection for the Messenger, and why not? For the hand that feeds ought to be blessed. But, beloved, when you revere the God flame in one another as we revere it in you, then you will understand the dignity of human worth—of the individual and the individualization of the God flame.

" . . . Beloved hearts, to be an initiate of the seventh ray demands decision. The decision must be taken and the vow made. Without decision and the vow, you do not have the support of the heavenly hosts. You can say, 'Maybe I will do this today. Maybe I will be an adept tomorrow. Maybe I will study alchemy on the next day and maybe I won’t, for, after all, I am free! Saint Germain has said I am free. Therefore I must be free!'

" . . . Beloved ones, I tell you, the vow is a serious commitment. The vow and the decision means that you abide by it. For you have given your word to the Almighty, the Almighty has accepted your word, and the Almighty sends his angels to assist you in keeping that word."

"Now from the heart of a cosmos I greet you, beloved, in this hour that you keep the vigil for the servants of God upon earth. I am come to you even as I ensoul the planet in my garments this day.

"I come, then, holding the balance in the earth for all conditions untoward you observe and some you do not. I come that I might extend to you even the thread of contact with my heart whereby you should also become agents of the Cosmic Christ to hold this balance to that end and for that purpose that the children of the Light might enter in to this sheepfold.

"These are the 'other sheep' and therefore these souls are gathered. I place my seal upon them but you must be myself as shepherd to go out and gather them.

"Therefore all [of you] on this staff and beyond who have no better occupation shall now be God-taught that you might become spokesmen for the Great White Brotherhood, for myself [and] even for Magda.

"Blessed ones, the Law has decreed that the hour may no longer advance that you are not equipped to speak the Word, to comfort, to counsel, to admonish, to raise up and to carry that child-man across the rapids and ultimately across the sea of samsara.

"I am with you in this hour by the magnet of Love of the Great Central Sun. I demagnetize from you all those things of which you desire to be delivered, those things which you are through with, throughly so."

"This experiment which I have sponsored has been my answer to Saint Germain’s Stump to Europe and to the Messenger’s call. For the effort of this team and the delivery of the Word night after night has made a deeper and deeper etch in the crystal of Matter and in the souls of Light.

"It is truly an example of what we have taught you—that when the Word is spoken it reaches all upon earth of a similar wave­length and vibration. It is never limited to the immediate audience. And though without the amplification of satellite or modern systems of communication, yet the earth body itself records the Word, which is why the Word must be incarnate in you."

"Blessed ones, it is important to therefore thrust forward and save a life and save many souls with the preaching of the Word and the understanding of making it applicable to the very personal lives of people everywhere.

"First and foremost, it is important to impress anyone you meet with the understanding that there is a necessity for this Teaching in his life. There is a necessity to go back to first principles and origins and man’s relationship to God and this integral unity by Love that must be pursued.

"Thus, a reason must be seen [to be pointed out by you] in each individual’s life why there is a necessity to insert a pillar of fire, an action of the Holy Spirit, a law and a prophecy for the resurrection of the soul and for the balancing of karma.

"You see, when they took from the scriptures of the West the understanding of reincarnation, they also took from the souls of the people the understanding of the necessity for the cosmic law to be understood, for the balancing of karma by the violet flame or even the purpose of the mantra itself. By a process of pulling the threads of identity, the identity lost no longer recognizes the need for commeasurement with the Infinite or the Deity itself.

"Realize, then, how difficult it is to speak of the necessity of the Path to one who is an atheist or a Communist or one who is self-satisfied in the smugness of his gains in materialism. So, you see, many of those who consider themselves rich—whether in goods or whether in their false theosophy or philosophy or politics—are brainwashed into considering that their self-sufficiency can quite do without the knowledge or the need of the Mighty I AM Presence or the Christ Self."

"Love as the divine friendship in every human relationship always transcends idolatry or karmic situations where there is an almost automatic dislike or bristling in the presence of another. This is only revealed as a sign that great imploring of the Godhead is needed, and love and violet flame must be invoked. It is like a pain in the body or a sore that erupts on the skin; it is but a sign of something deeper.

"And therefore, be more mature than to identify with that one thing about another that is so irksome and so very different from oneself. But only realize that it would not be irksome if there were not something yet lurking in your own subconscious that is either offended or hurt or burdened or resentful. And the leading to oneself of that very situation is the teacher Maitreya in action.

" . . . Thus, when you are prompted to enter into the spreading of the Word or the teaching or the publishing of the facts at hand and the dangers in America or Europe or any nation, you can realize that many who no longer have a body, yet whose dharma it is to do this task, are with you and loving you and assisting you. And as they have reached a certain level of etheric manifestation and attainment, they are able by a new dispensation to be more a part of our unascended chelas. Thus, great forces are moving together.

"And where you see any son of light spearheading a cause, I say: Help him, encourage him, and offer that cup of light—not neglecting the cup of cold water, the food, the refreshment, and the care. Providing physical needs is an essential part of the experience of love. Therefore, beloved hearts, recognize that when your bodies and minds have needs, these are supplied in the truest sense of love that need not be a descending spiral but one that uplifts and exalts and comforts by the eternal covenant of compassion.

"The covenant of compassion is the key to victory. When you call for my mantle of victory in this year, O beloved, remember that it is won by the covenant of compassion. Those toward whom you are compassionate can be victorious because they know that you love them.

"Love someone today. Love someone each day with the kind of love for which the soul is yearning. For the world will offer its loves, but the soul remains hungry and weary and crying—crying out for the tenderness that understands it and does not merely take care of the creature comforts. When you give a meal or when you give physical aid, it is received in joy because the spirit that flows with it reaches the soul, and the soul is at peace and no longer under the strain of world distress.

" . . . Love is carved sharper than a two-edged sword by the career, in any direction, of the servant-son. You may be a builder, you may be a doctor, a lawyer, a nurse, a clerk—you may be a fixer of anything. Whatever your calling, let it be the instrument of the Order of the Good Samaritans. And remember, El Morya has taught you: the first principle of that order is a spirit of noncondemnation. The removal of criticism, condemnation, and judgment will free you from all that binds you.

"Begin with yourself, beloved heart. Do not be so hard on yourself. Be hard on the devils that invade the temple but be sweet to your soul in a sweetness that bears the expectancy of accomplishment each day but does not drive the beast so that it may fall as it plows the field and plows its karma."

"There are peoples all over the world today who long for this union of Love with Christ, yet they know not how to break the bread of Life. They do not understand the Word or the Work of the Lord. And in many, many cases, even if they did understand, they would not be prepared for a path of sacrifice. They would not be prepared to be called by Jesus or Maitreya to undergo the rigors of undoing the old self, peeling away the layers of snakeskins and finally arriving at the place where one may put on the wedding garment, the bridal veil, one may be received by her Lord.

"To this end Jesus inspired upon the Messenger to teach the way of Saint John of the Cross in the living flame of Love to show that all saints have gone through the trial and the testing of feeling worthless, feeling rejected by that Lord and by that Christ but often imagining that that rejection or injustice or put-down has come from this or that person.

"But, beloved, when you bring yourself nearer and nearer to the living flame of Love, that Flame, because it is Love, because it is the Holy Spirit, because it is the intense fire of a ruby itself, must show you those things which must needs be corrected, transmuted, refined, balanced, resolved ere you may enter in. You can think of the living flame of Love as the doorkeeper who loves you so much that the Flame itself will not allow the door to be opened until you are fully prepared, thus sparing you the rejection by the Lord Christ.

"The living flame of Love will lick away at your wounds. And if you enter into the Flame and into the wounds, you will know the Refiner’s fire, you will know the sting from which the little child cries out when knees are scraped and must be dressed. Thus, beloved, [as] you comfort the child, [so] the living flame of Love does comfort you.

" . . . I pray that you study the profiles of many [successful leaders in every field] and [the books and courses of] those who are professional teachers in these subjects [today on] how to be a good leader, a good administrator, [and] how to be the servant of all if you would be great among men. The true leader is first and foremost the servant who humbly remembers at all times that he is actually the employee of the Christ of the ones whom he must lead.

"Therefore, beloved, let us see and study and come to the gentleness of heart. So, the gentle Spirit most holy shall impart a power not of this world and a fire to consume all temporal power and tyranny and totalitarian regimes.

"If there is to be leadership and the shepherding of souls and true ministers of the Word, there
must be those who will be sensitive not to hurt any “one of these little ones” and who will always remember: Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of these little ones, even unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me, Christ Jesus. I think, beloved, [that it is wise] before addressing anyone [to take that] very simple pause to remember that [although] that one you are speaking to may be a soul bereft of Christhood yet [that one is] still that potential Christ, that potential God.

" . . . Well, beloved, balance the threefold flame. Become shepherds, truly understanding the mantle of leader, and it shall be accomplished."

"Is heaven so far away? It seems far by longtime absence of your soul. Heaven is as near as the seraph that comes to escort you each day. Heaven is as near as the Archangel Gabriel, who does not leave off his ministration or implorings for you.

"Gabriel does now enunciate daily, hourly before the Father the names of all souls written in the Book of Life, all souls who may suffer loss unless someone will pray for them. I ask you, then, to continue to pray fervently that not another soul shall be lost during your tenure on earth who is of the Light and destined by free will and attainment to ascend to God. Let your shepherding and ministering and teaching in the world with the World Teachers show an abundant harvest, not the least of which your own victory.

"Now in the joy of ascension’s flame there is a sealing action. All is held in a great tension of Light and strands of Light. What could be done has been done by Archangels. The rest of the clearing shall be by yourselves in calls to the violet flame and Astrea for the balance of the conference.

"O beloved, you are God’s—his very own. You are the Father and the Mother in manifestation. Nurture life. Be a world mother and a world father. Your joy shall be endless and you will no longer be surfeited in self-concern, for everywhere you look are souls more needy than your own. In ministering to them, the Father shall fulfill in you every need and requirement, comfort and joy."

"Love, then, is the Great Central Sun Magnet. Love is never without white fire or the trinity of the threefold flame. When we speak of Love, we speak of an enveloping light that surrounds and becomes the dominant force of the other three comprising the square. Likewise with Wisdom. It becomes the enveloping cloud of golden yellow light, yet within is the Purity and Power and Love.

"Blessed hearts of the seven rays and the root races, blessed hearts who are angels who have come once again to enter the path of shepherding, teaching, preaching the Word—you also are called to be tutors of the Lightbearers of earth with the World Teachers and the hierarchs of the ruby ray.

"O Buddha of the Ruby Ray in the heart of earth, O Buddha from the Sun, expand now and reach forth. Touch these souls in the profound sense of becoming. Touch them for the quickening. Touch them with a ruby fire that there might be seized from them now, by the quality of the ruby ray, substance to be taken—and not to be taken lightly—for that darkness must be removed ere the precious flowers can grow in the garden of the soul.

"We have heard the call for the clearing of Darkness. We have heard the call for the clearing of world condemnation. Legions of Light move, for this force of action will surely deliver an open highway to Saint Germain. Let it increase. You need no invitation to gather in the Holy Grail and set yourself to the task of the alchemists of the age.

" . . . The Mother has waited long for the coming of the Buddha out of the heart of Shamballa. She has waited long for your coming. And she does hold the balance of ancient civilizations that have occurred, both on Lemuria and Atlantis and those long forgotten upon this continent as well as in other areas of the earth.

"This great and vast temple of Light, beloved, has been prepared over aeons. It is the place of the gathering of the culture of all nations and peoples. It is the place of the drawing together of many lifewaves. Therefore minister to them, understand them, feed them the teachings of the path of their own resolution, their own calling, and their own tradition.

" . . . The Mother has much to teach her children and requires all of the tutors assigned by us, the restoration of the culture of heaven, and the best of earth. We seek not to re-create human patterns but to show the cultivation of Light behind every expression, however great or meager, of the peoples of earth."

"I call, then, unto those who have heard the call already and are responding by answering with their own call, and I come to you, opening my heart for the healing of hearts. For the heart chakra of this state must needs be expanded that there might evolve fruition and a light.

"Let the children of Mu come of age. Let them understand what it means to be sons of God in a time when few accept the responsibility of shepherding.

" . . . May you run to the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the purple fiery heart of Saint Germain and therefrom receive the engrafted Word. This, this is Cosmic Christ illumination. This is the transfer from the great Masters to you directly through your own Christ Self, who is high priest at the altar of your being, of that fire so needed for you to know and to sense and to be who, what and where you ought to be in this age.

"I release now the fire for the realignment of worlds. Come Home, my beloved, to the heart of everlasting Love. So may it be that you discover Reality and in the process know the Teacher, the Twin Flame and the beloved God."

"The choice to make in this hour, beloved, must be a fervent choice to shun every part of Death in self and society, to champion Life and to determine to be in Life continuously in the physical octave until the coming of that dawn. To this end you are called. To this destiny you have arrived. Let no man or woman or situation or personal karma or opposition or fantasy or nightmare take from you that to which you have been called and chosen by Sanat Kumara for hundreds of thousands of years.

"Blessed ones, do not derive from my message either hopefulness or hopelessness. Do not attempt to interpret from it the coming message of the Lord of the World. What you may interpret from my word is this—that we require of our chelas a cosmic realism, a realism that does analyze the present, not with an anticipation that suddenly those who have walked a dark path shall turn to the violet flame, but a tangible assessment of those things which can be expected in the earth, a tangible assessment of those things which cannot, and again of those things which we do expect of our chelas.

"It would do you well to place yourselves in the person of myself—of both Hierarch, Teacher and Ascended Master. I ask you to do this and to that end I give you gladly a loan of my Electronic Presence for twenty-four hours from this moment. Thus, you must reason within your heart, 'What shall I do, for I am responsible for this Community, these chelas, these Keepers of the Flame? What shall I require and expect of them? What is the most necessary and urgent need of the hour?'

"Blessed ones, for the vast many, an hour has passed of opportunity where they can no longer choose a path of Light, for they are tossed and tumbled in the waves of this dark cycle. For another few who still represent millions, the door has not closed. Therefore, shepherding, stumping and teaching is still the urgent cry of the hour."

"Expect miracles, thousand-petaled miracles of the rose of the heart. Expect them, beloved. For the old order and the old rules no longer apply. This is a new day of acceleration. I announce it to you, as some others of our bands have, to assure you that there is no limitation, that many await your coming, and that these stumps have been given primarily, as you would say, by the marines and the shock troops who land and immediately descend into the pits of Death and Hell to clean out the dark forces in the cities.

"This has been a first-ray endeavor by those who truly have wed themselves to Morya, Hercules, and Archangel Michael. Now you will see that it will be easier to go into these cities and others, and you may always go with this mantle and momentum [of the Messenger’s Stump Team] yourselves. For much preparation is intended for the hour and the day when Saint Germain can do that which he desires to do for these nations.

"Therefore this day I have looked again to Atlantis and the records. And I have shown the Messenger in meditation that darkness of debris of Atlantis which yet is upon the Eastern Seaboard of the United States—a deleterious momentum whereby dark forces yet gain power over the minds of the people. Then, too, on the borders of Europe, here on the side of the west where the seas touch the landed areas and moving across the entire span of the land we see the mists of Atlantis and dark momentums.

" . . . Present yourselves a living sacrifice and Serapis Bey will truly come knocking upon your door. And you will see what it means to be initiated by the fourth-ray Master of purity and sacred fire. And you will know the confidence of giving your life to God, for no one can take that life from you when
you have earned your ascension. Therefore you are free and you do not fear danger. You do not fear death any longer, for your life is truly hid with Christ in God and you are a pillar of fire now and forever, as Above and so below."

"Thus in my final incarnation when I took the dictation from Jesus and Mother Mary and the Ascended Master Hilarion (who had been the apostle Paul) to write down these truths, I so inscribed Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings whereby those souls in transition who could equate both with the unreality of matter and with the necessity for a concrete existence might find the door and the way out.

"I can tell you, beloved, these writings, like many other teachings and expressions of the mysteries of God that have been categorized as metaphysics, have surely opened doors to those of a spiritual consciousness who did have within themselves the gift of Christhood and a threefold flame and who were at that place of longing that precedes the soul's transiting beyond these material spheres.

"But in the hands of those of only a physical awareness, this teaching has become an orthodoxy shrouded in the limitations of their own minds. Therefore it has become a dogma. And it has become a prison house for some. And those without the Holy Spirit have not been able to succeed in applying this truth to the victory of their souls but, in fact, in its misapplication have made serious karma as they have denied medical assistance and care to those in need. Thus the dilemma, beloved, of being a scribe for God and a reformer and of bringing to the forefront truths with which the many are ill-equipped to deal.

"Not so [with] my sister Martha, who stands before you. For she did receive this word even at the same level in which I received it when I wrote it, when she began to read this textbook at the age of nine. And therefore she could be God-taught by Jesus in these mysteries and encompass and understand even the heavenly hosts and reincarnation and karma and what was really [meant] when I wrote, 'There is no life, truth, intelligence nor substance in matter . . .'

"And thus, by and by her inner walk with me (as I was then ascended), and with Jesus and Mary and Paul, brought her to the conclusion that those who in this world [and] in this life controlled the spreading abroad of Christian Science, the publication of what I gave forth, did not have a chalice big enough to hold what these truths hold.

"Thus I remained to comfort and to teach her, not without hope that one day she could bring forth the true understanding of these mysteries. For in their true understanding, beloved, they have also given to her strength and vision and the absolute belief in the absolute God. The faith you have seen in this Messenger, then, is based on the knowledge within of the inner geometry of God and the inner science of Being.

" . . . I wrote the question:

"What is the scientific statement of being?

"And the answer:

"There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all. Spirit is immortal Truth; matter is mortal error. Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal. Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness. Therefore man is not material; he is spiritual.

"This is a formula of healing that is complete when understood. But when not understood, it becomes a denial of the very physical existence and the platform of material evolution that is indeed necessary to the soul and is indeed 'real' so long as the soul requires this wavelength, this vibration.

"Thus, [some] Christian Science practitioners have used this almost in a mental malpractice, denying that anything imperfect [has existence at all], denying that matter itself [has existence], with the result that by their will they have prevented karma [i.e., imperfection] from manifesting and unwittingly postponed the day of the soul's dealing with that karma, [that imperfection]; [moreover, they have] denied the necessity of pain [and they have] denied the necessity of suffering, and therefore [they have] denied pain and suffering itself as a condition of matter.

" . . . There are any number of embodiments that I had between that two thousand years from the time of Mary of Bethany to the time of Mary Baker Eddy. And during these centuries I myself passed through the initiations with the saints in the Church and even in the East and did study under the great Lights [as I] prepared for this mission.

"Therefore, beloved, I studied under those who gave me the teachings of the control of Nature and natural forces. And I was gifted, by the grace of God, whereby through this teaching and writing [of Christian Science] many were healed. But it was truly by the grace of God and my oneness with Christ Jesus, even as the beloved Aimee Semple McPherson was the instrument of Jesus' healing and his Holy Spirit. Though neither one of us had the full outer understanding of what was taking place as he healed through us, yet many were converted to our respective churches and faith and remain there to this day.

"They must be liberated into the higher walk with God. Yet these above all do resist this Path and Truth. May you pray therefore for the binding of all erroneous misinterpretations of Christ's true doctrine. And may you call for the binding of the planetary dweller-on-the-threshold that affects all churches and all churchgoers.

"My presence with you today is that I might transfer to you at the soul level and at the level of your Holy Christ Self this cube of Light that contains the understanding of the science of Truth and the true Divine Science, which, when you have it at inner levels, becomes a profound strength and foundation for all that you are carrying forward. And the teaching in this activity is, of course, a science in itself.

"I come with a comforting rod of Wisdom, which I offer to John the Beloved, that Love and Wisdom might assist you as you must come now to the place, each and every one, [of] facing your Atlantean karma and [dealing] with the [karmic] cycles of April 23; [in order to be successful, you must] directly challenge all misuses of Power. With Wisdom and with Love you can do this, beloved.

"May you understand that in the past many have had Power and have abused it and therefore [they] must submit in time and in some sense of the word to those who may yet be abusing Power [in order] to learn the lessons of being on the receiving end [of such abuses] and then to work together [with them] in Love and Mercy and Divine Justice and Wisdom for the true [and righteous] exercise of authority when it is given.

"All organizations and institutions must have individuals with varying levels of authority, beloved. El Morya has stated wisely that there are no perfect leaders. Many may be tyrants. The perfect leader is no longer found in this world, for the perfect leader is truly Christ the Lord. And when the leader becomes that Christ, that leader is not long for this world except by very special dispensation.

"Thus, beloved, whether or not this Church Universal and Triumphant, [including] its branches in Teaching Centers and Study Groups, does continue to thrive and to grow and to expand depends on [an] enlightened leadership that is full of compassion and the Holy Spirit and that is careful before the power and the authority that is given not to abuse it and not to crush new souls on the Path.

"I pray that you pray for the leader within you to rise up and take dominion and that you surrender to that leader and to that law and to the justice, which is absolute and unerring, of your own karmic condition."

"Thus, a new teaching that is designed for the new dispensation of Aquarius is in your hands. And this tradition must be passed as a torch to those who are adherents of the world’s major religions. As you become more and more familiar with their customs and traditions, you will find the perfect way to present this new teaching.

"So in every century Padma Sambhava has sent his representatives. But I tell you, the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood has united behind this Teaching, this Cause. We have placed tremendous stock in the practices of this Path and in the way it has been taught by our Messengers in this century."
